ABOUT THE ROLE

Toppr is looking for an SEO strategist. As an SEO expert, you’ll continue the journey of creating awareness about Toppr and attracting new users. You’ll identify strategies to increase the number of visitors on Toppr. You’ll analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations to optimize our pages. You’ll help improve Toppr’s website structure, page construction, keyword lists, and SEO copywriting.

HOW YOU’LL RAMP

First week:

  • On-boarding session: Toppr’s journey, mission, values, future outlook, and footprint across India.
  • Training under the best: Spend time with the leaders of the Product and Marketing teams to get up-to-speed on Toppr’s product and marketing strategies.

By Day 30…

  • Manage Toppr’s SEO performance: Constantly check search terms, rankings, and analytics to monitor Toppr’s performance. Make recommendations for its improvement.
  • Guide a community of writers: Based on your findings, source original content for Toppr’s website - tailored for our target audience.
  • Refine SEO strategies: Monitor industry changes. Manage and refine SEO strategies and execute optimization tactics.

Day 90…

  • Optimisation: Employ user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation methods. This helps turn visitors into more active users and improves website performance.
  • Harnessing Social Media: Use social media to distribute content. Encourage more external sites to link to your content.
  • Monitor Algorithms: Monitor the algorithms set by search engines to keep up-to-date with changes.

WHAT YOU’VE ACCOMPLISHED... SO FAR

  • Education: A graduate degree and/or a certification in SEO Marketing.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO marketing.
  • Knowledge: Operate tools like webmaster tools, Ahrefs and Google Analytics. Basics of PhP and HTML is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Communication: Excellent communicator and relationship builder. You have worked collaboratively with marketing and product teams.
    • Sense of data: Experienced in data driven marketing, including ROI / investment strategies / scaling.
    • Sense of analytics: Strong analytical skills for understanding ranking algorithms.
